The way they are explained, you will always remember them. They use real life samples, which you can make connections to your own experiences. The terms are explain so easy, that it's like having a one to one conversation. I will really honestly recommend it!

This is a great course. I found it to be extremely informative and interactive. The case studies are invaluable and the content is easy to understand and broken down well.

I thought this course was a great overview of the concepts and material that would be presented in the exam. I think the most helpful thing is the self-guided approach to the AHPP. I personally work well with having a syllabus and this is the closest thing I think I can find to that. The resources and practice questions are great and I don't feel as concerned as I did with the Case Studies as I did before taking this course. I'm feeling confident in going through other materials with this as a good background. There were also a lot of things covered in this course that were either glazed over or not covered at all in the Brightwood/Kaplan book for PcM. After taking this course, I feel much more confident and prepared to take the exam as well as other related exams. Going into it, I felt unsure about exam content, especially after coming from 4.0. However, now I feel confident going forward in taking this exam and even maybe Project Management. Having a dialogue, even if you're only the fly on the wall is really helpful. I feel like it's really important to start to think that way for yourself especially when reading questions. It was also helpful to hear why other people thought other things when going through the practice questions. When you can tell that person, in your head of course, why their answer was incorrect or why another answer is correct, you start to really understand the material. It's bordering that concept of being able to teach something as being when you know you've mastered a subject. I can't wait to get the PjM course and even do more studying and reading for this one; I'm even maybe looking forward to it. Thanks for the great material and motivation! Highly recommend!

I purchased this course as a back up source to help with my understanding of the information in the Practice Management portion of the ARE. What I found the most helpful about the material was the way it sourced the documents listed in the NCARB Matrix. It uses that information, and a group dialog to dispel misconceptions that a person might have from their individual experience in practice, or what they might infer in reading alone. I did not study the entire course, I used it as a supplement to the sections that I was not testing well on through another content provider. I will say that the lectures on the financials were a game changer and the tricks and study methods were top notch. I rate this course very highly if you're having trouble getting through some of the material that feels esoteric because you aren't getting much hands-on experience with firm financials.

First of all, THANK YOU! PcM was the first exam I took and I do not think I would have been nearly as prepared for it without completing this course. The study material and amount of information was overwhelming and this course helped so much to break it down clearly. Between this course and the AHPP, I learned so much and successfully passed PcM on my first attempt! I highly recommend this course to anyone I know preparing to take PcM. As soon as the Contracts 101 course came out I purchased it as well to help me prepare for PjM and CE. I also greatly appreciate how manageable the cost of your courses are with the large amount of content included. Thank you again for your efforts in helping young architects be successful!

I started studying for PCM prior to purchasing this course and I had to "restart" my studying once I purchased this course. (For Good Reasons LOL) I think I would of missed a lot of information if I kept doing it my way. This course takes the resources given by NCARB and aligns them to each study objective which was extremely important to me. Lorenzo breaks down each objective and at the end of each video Mike shows you how to study for it. Reading the resources aligned to each objective you constantly have an overlap of information and can see it from different perspectives. (Which I think is key for the ARE's BTW) Lorenzo's Calculation and Project Delivery tips are HUGE and I'm constantly replaying those video objectives and re-doing these tips daily. I haven't 100% completed this course at the time of this review however, I started taking practice questions this morning and I feel more comfortable and prepared for the PCM test as a result of this course. I would highly recommend this course!

I enrolled into the PcM 101 course before my exam and it was by far the best content available for this exam. Lorenzo and Mike have done a superb job of breaking down the exam by objectives. Also the live interaction where we have a question and answer session throughout the entire course are very helpful. Unlike the other online courses, don't get me wrong they are also good, but the Young Architect PcM 101 course goes well beyond the other ARE Prep companies are providing. Young Architect genuinely cares about the ARE Community and not about just trying to make money with mediocre study materials. Moving forward, I am all in when it comes to Young Architects Academy courses!
